Fred Barley

 

Started playing drums at the age of the thirteen in his hometown São José dos Campos, a city where he still lives up to today. He is very active in his city's area, known as "Vale do Paraíba", or Paraíba's Valley.

He has won the Fifth Drummer Contest in 1998, and was considered the best new talent by the magazine "Modern Drummer Brazil". Besides playing with the bands in the area, he is also a collaborator in some drums specialized magazines.
